The Vincent Boys (Hot Guy: Beau)

Author: Abbi Glines
Ashton is getting tired of being good, of impressing her parents and playing ideal girlfriend to Sawyer Vincent. Sawyer is perfect, a regular Prince Charming, but when he leaves town for the summer, it’s his cousin Beau who catches Ashton’s eye. Beau is the sexiest guy she’s ever seen, and even though he’s dangerous, Ashton is drawn to him.
Beau loves his cousin like a brother, so the last thing he wants to do is make a move on Sawyer’s girl. Ashton is off-limits, absolutely. That’s why he does his best to keep his distance, even though he’s been in love with her forever. When Ashton wants to rekindle their childhood friendship in Sawyer’s absence, Beau knows he should say no.
Ashton and Beau don’t want to hurt Sawyer. But the more they try to stay away from each other, the more intense their urges become. It’s getting way too hard to resist...

I am finally writing a review for this book and I am beyond excited! I have so many things I have to gush about and I don't know where to start! Okay, I think the most important thing I need to discuss is BEAU! (Is Beau a common name? Just wondering...) He’s a major hottie. He lives by no one’s rules, but his own. Unfortunately, he has grown up in the wrong side of the town but that doesn’t make the ladies love him less. I love everything about Beau. Although he appears that he doesn’t care about SHIT—he does, he especially cares about Ashton.

“I was already headed for Hell, I might as well enjoy the ride.”

I loved this book’s heroine: Ashton. I thought I wasn’t going to like her because she was the preacher’s daughters and those girls seem to carry a reputation, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that she was not the typical preacher’s daughter. When she was young she was carefree with Beau but their relationship changed and she ended up with Sawyer, the other Vincent. Her life with Swayer has been safe, sheltered, and boring. Nevertheless, the carefree girl she once was with Beau is still inside her and revives when Sawyer is away.

"No one expected the preacher's daughter to sin, but they sure would love to catch me at it.”

I love the journey Aston takes to discover her true self and I LOVE how Beau helps her ;)

“The heart wants who the heart wants. We can't help that.”

I love the pace of the book. It kept me interested in the beginning, which is where I seem to struggle the most. Although they didn’t hook up in the beginning, it kept me interested enough, actually more than enough, to finish the book and LOVE it! I do have one dislike about this book: the ending. When Sawyer arrives—ugh! You have to read it to find out what happens! Overall, the Vincent Boys is another Abbi Glines book I love and if you haven't read it, go and buy it NOW! You'll regret not reading it sooner.
