Gerard's Quest Blog Tour

Gerard’s Quest
In Bed with the Enemy Series #2

I had no expectations when reading this book. I have never read a book that revolves art, music, heirlooms, auctions, etc. This book was like an ongoing episode of White Collar, which I loved.

I didn't love Gerard from the beginning, which was unusual for me because I usually love the male characters from the first moment they open their mouths. Gerard is a very focused person, an overly focused person. He wants to find his family heirloom and is willing to risk everything to get it. This confused me. I wasn't able to understand why the heirloom was so important to him.

Julianne hates Gerard, at least she thinks she hates him. He did something that she is unwilling to forget. She's an independent woman and a completely strong women. I loved her! She made Gerard's live a living hell and it was fun to watch a woman toy with a man the way she did.

Gerard and Julianne love each other. The chemistry is not even questionable, they were made for each other. However, it takes them a while to get their priorities straight and to forget the past.

I liked so many things about this book. AJ! I need to know more about him. He's such a mysterious man. His mood swings were giving me whiplashes but it added such an interesting story to the plot. I can't wait to read more about him!

This book can be read as a standalone novel, but the characters from the first book in the series do appear! I haven't read the first book and I easily followed the storyline. Overall, this was an enjoyable read that I could not put down because I wanted to see what came next in the hunt for the heirloom!
