Make it a Double Blog Tour

Welcome to Last Call...a bar where the drinks are cold and the nights are scorching hot.

Last Call, #2
Adult Contemporary Romance
Released April 21, 2014

Sawyer Bennett is one of my favorite authors! Her latest series is called Last Call and it takes place on the coast of North Carolina. The first book of the series is On The Rocks which is about Hunter and Gabby (Review). I LOVED the first book and commented that I would love to know more about Brody because his character deeply moved me in the first book.

I'm deeply in love with Brody. A man like him is a rare find. He's loyal, loving, sexy, hot, broody. In conclusion, he's a good guy. He's spend five years in prison and that completely changed him. He's trying to readjust to life but he finds is difficult because he carries a secret that about that night were his life drastically changed.

Alyssa own a no-kill animal shelter. She's a heiress but hates how she was raised. She would rather get down and dirty before going to a social gathering with her parents. She's such a strong woman. I expected her to break down sometimes or do something stupid, she didn't. I love how this series has such strong, independent female characters.

Alyssa and Brody seem to hate each other ever since Brody called her a rich, spoiled, bitch socialite. She hates that he sees her like that because she tries not to be that person. However,  Brody misjudges her and realizes how wrong he was when he starts volunteering at her shelter.

Their relationship builds quickly. It is very obvious they have chemistry, moreover, from the beginning you can tell that their relationship goes past physical relationships. Brody is such a gentleman. He would do anything and everything for Alyssa. However, I love that he also supports what she wants.

Alyssa's ex does play a crucial part of the story, but the story does not focus solely on that. I enjoyed how it focus on Alyssa and Brody building a relationship.

I love this series! It was absolutely a heartwarming story and I know that I will reread this story many times in the future!I can't wait to find out who's the next story about!
