Chasing Forever (Review+Excerpt+Giveaway)

REVIEW
I thought this book was great! I like books that take place in offices--it adds a forbidden appeal to it and this book definitely had some of it. Books about lawyers are quickly becoming my favorite books and this book would definitely have to be one of the best!

Regan is moving on with her life after having to deal with a heartbreaking, really, it's sickening, situation in college. She thought she left behind that person in college but now she has to deal with him in the workplace!

Lucas has been unable to move pass Regan. He can't forget what he did to her and when he sees her again he knows that she is not the same person. Regan is prepared to ignore him for the rest of the summer but he has other ideas.

We don't find out what Lucas did to Regan in the beginning novel, something that can be frustrating! They hate each other but we don't know why! We eventually do find out but it doesn't make the previous chapters less frustrating.

Lucas is an asshole. I also felt that he came off a bit self-centered. BUT as much as I wanted to hate him, I couldn't. Regan really try to resist him, which is something admirable. Something I felt like I didn't want them to get together, but they belong together!

I don't think my review gave this book justice! This book needs to be read by all romance-loving readers out there! It was exceptionally written! BUY IT! You won't regret it!

EXCERPT
“Are you ignoring me?” she asked.
                  “No,” he answered.
“Did you get the Rule 12(b)(6) motion I emailed you yesterday?”
                  “Yes.”
                  “Are you mad?”
                  “No.”
“Can you expand your answers beyond one syllable?” The corners of his mouth twitched.
                  “Maybe.”
“Ahh, two syllables. I’m impressed. Can you try putting together two words or maybe even a full sentence?”
“I don’t know. I wouldn’t want to charm you into making another mistake.”
