REVIEWFamily. Romance. Mystery. Those three words perfectly capture the essence of the fourth O'Leary's novel. Books like this are simply too good to put down!
Moira was such a fun heroine! She knew exactly what she wanted was not afraid to take it. She had Jimmy all tangled up! She was daring, funny, unafraid! I loved her!
Jimmy is a responsible, hardworking man. Those two words can easily be applied to a boring person, and I have to admit, Jimmy began a little boring, but got better has the book progressed. He has a lot of responsibilities on his shoulders and Moira interwinds herself into his world, making things look less like a burden.
Jimmy and Moira are forced to work together due to some complications and from the beginning they don't get along. The've known each other all their lives but that only makes everything worst. The familiarity between Jimmy and Moira made the story even more likable because their history strengthen their relationship, sometimes.
I have not read the previous O'Leary's novels but I do want to go back and read the series from the beginning. Although it can be read as a standalone novel, I think it would have been more enjoyable knowing the other characters.
I don't think there is one thing I didn't enjoy of this novel. I think I loved it so much because apart from Jimmy and Moira's relationship-building-storyline there was the mysterious case they were both working on! I truly recommend this novel. It is one hell of a read!
