REVIEWTara has bad luck, lots of it. Just as her book of marriage hits big her husband of 15 years leaves her. She then has to go on a blog tour, but she breaks her publicist's legs and ends up with the Jake. However, she also has a bit of good luck because she does end up with Jake, who is 10 years younger than her!
Tara started as breakable being. She had the perfect life. She was married, had a dog, lived in a nice house, etc. Her husband just disappears! Jerk, I know! However, as the story progressed she became so much stronger. I love characters like this because it gives such a powerful message to all the readers.
Jake has the wrong impression of Tara when he starts working with her. He thinks she's just a flake. However, he quickly discovers how wrong he was and that's when they start falling for each other. Did the age difference matter to me? Not really. It added so much more meaning to their relationship!
This book is not the typical book I buy. Nevertheless, it is a book I enjoyed. Although I wouldn't recommend it to younger readers who are looking for hot player alpha men, it would make a great read for their mothers, or in other words, mature audiences.
