Personal Target Blog Tour (Review+Giveaway)

REVIEW

I love romance novels. I think most of you figured that out especially since I have a blog that talks about romance novels. This book had romance, lots of it. BUT that's not the only thing that it had. It had a thrilling plot that revolved about the dangerous cartels of Mexico and their hatred of Nick. I was kept on the edge of my seat and I really can't think of another book that has done that to me!

Nick's job is dangerous. He's constantly putting his life on the line but he's okay with that as long as his family stays safe. He's family is not safe, at least that is what cartel lord warns him about before he dies. Nick sends his brother, who is his only family, off into hiding hoping that will keep them out reach of the cartel's malice. He mostly succeeds. There's only a small mix-up. His sister-in-law's best friend/past lover ends being taken by the cartel, by mistake!

Jenni is trying to figure out her life after her divorce. What she doesn't expect is being kidnapped and being sent to Mexico. She figures out it has something to do with Nick but doesn't know much at all.

Jenni is such a strong women. She has those moments she breaks down, but it's expected! What she goes through is horrendous! One day she's living her nice boring life in Dallas and the next day she is being carted off all over the world which she suspect is human trafficking. Scary, I know.

When Nick learns that Jenni is in danger, he doesn't hesitate to help. Yeah, she might have unexpectedly broken things off with him years ago, but she's in that mess because of him.

They soon discover that those feelings they thought to suppress so long ago are being ignited again. They try to get past that, but can't, especially with some of the situations they are put in.

This book is filled with surprises and I loved it! I could NOT put it down. I can't wait to continue reading because I know "Hollywood's" books is going to be great!
