Alex Blog Tour (Review+Giveaway)

I'm a GIGANTIC Sawyer Bennett fan! I have been for a while now so every book she puts out, I'm excited to read. When I heard she was writing about a hockey team, I was ECSTATIC. I also happen to be a huge hockey fan! Anyways, I'm so happy with the way this book came out.

Sutton and Alex have both had troubled past, however, they have both dealt with it differently. While Sutton helps others, Alex takes his anger out on everybody and everything.

Alex is an asshole. He's the most hated player in the league and he doesn't care. However, his coach makes him work with Sutton as a last string. His past affects him more than it should but with Sutton, he's able to work past it. However, it takes him a while to work out his problems. I actually loved Alex, although he put a tough exterior, he was very vulnerable.

Sutton is a very independent woman. She doesn't really need a man and doesn't really want one until Alex comes into the picture. Sutton is good for him but it takes Alex while to realize that. I love an independent woman and Sutton was one hell of a woman!

Alex keeps a lot of things to himself which was frustrating for the reader because he needed to let people in. There was a bit of drama because of Alex's problems but it only made me want to read it more. Did I mention it was he was a hockey player? He's HOT! I really did fall in love with the characters and can't wait to continue reading the series!
