The Empire State Trilogy Blog Tour (+Review)

I had a really good feeling when I began reading the Empire State Trilogy and that feeling lasted all the way to the end. These books just have a way of making you drop everything so that you can finish it and see Anna and Ethan have the "happily-ever" after they deserve

Anna and Ethan are rather simple characters. They both don't want to be in a relationship. They have distinct reasons for not wanting to be committed. However, one night is all it takes them to want more. They are completely infatuated with each other after that night as much as they don't want to admit it. Anna and Ethan, throughout the series, have their fears of the relationship they are trying to build but love conquers all at the end. Doesn't it always?

This series had a bit of an office romance and let me tell you, I LIVE for office romances. It's a type of forbidden relationship that's not very serious, but it does have consequences if discovered. It also creates LOTS of sexual tension in the workplace.

Ethan falls hard for Anna. Both characters obviously end up falling in love with each other. However, I felt like Ethan fell for Anna first and that makes a big difference for me. Ethan's commitment to the relationship felt genuine throughout the series. I had a big crush on Ethan. He had rules he abided to when relationships, more like one-night stance, where concerned and he breaks then all for Anna, and rather quickly.

Anna is woman everyone can relate to. She's strong heroine but she could be infuriating because she couldn't see what a great man Ethan was.

This series was perfection. It had two great characters, a interesting plot, and awesome writing. What more can I ask from an author? Nothing! Louise Bay, I'm definitely reading more of your books. You killed this series!
